Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp
  • 2 tsp black mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp whole
  • dried curry leaves
  • 1 onion coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 450 grams butternut squash
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • root peeled and chopped
  • 1 tbsp mild curry powder
  • 1 small fresh red chilli
  • 0.5 tsp whole cumin seeds
  • 10 green cardamom pods cracked
  • 1 litre chicken stock
  • 1 pinch ground turmeric
