Croissant Chocolate Bread & ButterPuddingThis recipe was inspired by a combination of Instagram and a phone call from my mum telling me about the dessert she had just made and how delicious it was

If you start with a chewy French bread, your pudding will have a little more bulk and texture than if you use a delicate brioche or croissant, but it’s mostly a matter of personal preference
BreadandButterpudding to use up Christmas left-over brioche. Mix the sugar, cream, milk and flavourings into a jug and pour on top of the bread to cover generously
