Ingredients

  • 250 g spaghetti - avoid the quick cook stuff it will go mushy
  • 8 rashers of rind-less streaky bacon - cut into strips
  • a couple of glug of olive oil
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • 4 eggs - free range of course
  • 100 g Parmesan - freshly grated
  • black pepper
  • 120 ml double cream
  • some freshly grated nutmeg
