Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, very finely diced
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 200 g pancetta or smoked streaky bacon, diced
  • 125 ml white wine
  • 250 ml hot chicken or veg stock
  • 75 g cream cheese – preferably full fat
  • 75 ml double cream
  • 15 g freshly grated parmesan
  • 100 g frozen peas
  • Black pepper to season
  • 100 g penne pasta
