Ingredients

  • 2 x Bottles of beer, we used big 750ml bottles of Saint Omer
  • 1 x Chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 x onion, diced
  • 2 x Carrots, peeled and diced
  • Mushrooms chopped into quarters
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
  • 2 x Tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2 x Tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 2 x bay leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon of dried thyme
  • Chicken stock cube
  • Flour
