  • 100 g/ 4 oz butter
  • 3 level tbsp golden syrup ( use dark corn syrup if not available)
  • 50 g/2oz sugar
  • 50 g/2oz porridge oats
  • 10 g/½oz cocoa powder (not drinking chocolate)
  • 175 g/6oz flour
  • 150 g/5oz icing sugar
  • 50 g/2oz softened butter
  • 1 tbsp milk or cream
  • 50 g/2oz melted dark chocolate
