Perfect for a midweek family meal! Author: Camilla Recipe type: Main Cuisine: Mexican Serves: 4 Ingredients 450g extra lean beef mince
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil 1 sachet Schwartz Chilli con Carne Recipe Mix 400g tin chopped tomatoes 400g tin red kidney beans, drained & rinsed 1 – 2 tbsp chopped red or green jalapenos (from a jar) 125 ml cold water 12 taco shells Taco garnishes Cheddar cheese, grated Iceberg lettuce, shredded tomatoes, diced sour cream jalapenos, sliced (from a jar) Instructions Heat the oil in a deep frying pan/wok. Fry the mince until browned (about 5 minutes). Add the Schwartz Chilli con Carne Recipe Mix contents, tomatoes, kidney beans, jalapenos and water. Bring to the boil, stirring. Lower heat to a simmer, cover and cook gently for 15 – 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Towards the end of cooking heat up the taco shells according to their instructions. Place all the prepared garnishes in bowls ready to serve at the table. Once ready divide the Chilli con Carne between 4 bowls and place on serving plates along with 3 tacos each.
