Ingredients

  • 1/2 inch sized chunks
  • 2 medium brown onions, peeled and finely chopped

  • 1/2 ounce tin
  • 400 g tin of coconut milk

  • To serve
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

  • You will also need
  • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
  • a thumb sized piece of fresh root ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 TBS smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp peanut oil
  • 2 TBS tomato puree
  • 2 fresh red chilies, deseeded and chopped
  • a small bunch of fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • 1 TBS unsweetened dessicate coconut
  • 2 TBS ground almonds
