  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • 140 g (5oz) butter, cubed
  • 1 egg 85g (3oz) caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
  • finely grated zest of 1 lemon
  • For the decoration
  • 50 g (1 3/4 oz) butter, melted
  • 50 g (1 3/4 oz) caster sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 50 g (1 3/4 oz) currants
  • 65 ml (2 1/2 fl oz) Stock Syrup
