Slice the breadand toast. Butter (To butter the bread, as much or as little as you desire). Mix the eggs, sugar, milk, cream and vanilla extract in a bowl until combined
I love breadandbutterpudding, the chance to try a more adult dessert, rich with soft fluffy brioche, dark chocolate and a custard infused with orange, sounded altogether delicious
Chocolate Marmalade BriocheBreadandButterPudding. If you don’t have any briochebread to hand, then use another egg/butter enriched bread, such as fruit bread, croissants or even stale sponge cake, which also works well
Butter a baking dish large enough to hold the brioche buns in it side by side. Pour this over top of the brioche buns, pressing them down into the mixture a bit
All-butter croissants are used instead of bread for an indulgent take on this old fashioned pudding. Drizzle melted butter over the croissants and pour half the cream custard mixture over the top of the croissants
I adore breadandbutterpudding. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the cinnamon and allspice, then spread over both sides of the bread, followed by the marmalade
I've never made breadandbutterpudding before so I was very excited to try this out. Butter the bread, cut the crusts off and arrange a layer at the bottom of the prepared baking dish
I love breadandbutterpudding. The advantage of b&b pudding is that you can use (and you actually should) slightly older breadand almost any kind of bread will do
Pour over the brioche letting it soak and press down with a fork to ensure its all absorbed. Sprinkle the chocolate and push into the bread mixture (you can use giant chocolate buttons as an alternative)
For now, here's my delicious indian-inspired breadandbutterpudding. Cook on low until a knife inserted into the centre of the pudding comes out clean and the bread is browned at the edges
If you start with a chewy French bread, your pudding will have a little more bulk and texture than if you use a delicate brioche or croissant, but it’s mostly a matter of personal preference
