I am also a lifelong Weight Watchers member, and I used to follow a similar regime when saving points to used for a special meal or for the weekend, where I would eat less on one or two days during the week
Breakfast. plus, I have to admit to eating a packet of crumpets and two post-New Year buffet pork pies as my daily meals one day last week, so busy was I
Breakfast. And, one of the best ways to keep on track, for me, is to devise a weeklymeal plan. However, it fits right into my schedule this week to fast on Monday and Wednesday, which leaves the rest of the weekand the weekend to have fun in the kitchen with my new cookbooks that I received for Christmas
One Pan All Day Breakfast. Anyway, on to my weeklymeal plan and the recipe for Curried Carrot Soup. I have also planned the rest of my week’smeals, again, they have a very wintry slant to them and I am also embracing lots of bread making this week
That’s all for my Festive Fish in Friday post, do have a relaxing weekend, the last weekend this year, and see you tomorrow with some naughty but terribly nice recipes…
Meal type. But it’s still wonderful and doesn’t taste at all like a dietrecipe. Print recipe. If you are not dieting, or even if you are and have saved enough calories, feel free to serve this with rice
And yes, I have not posted in two days, which is VERY unusual for me, but I have lots of lovely recipes to share with you over the next few days, as well as some reviews, news, giveaways and a weeklymeal plan too……along with photos and my daily thoughts, I hope to be back on track (excuse the pun – all this talk of trains has obviously affected me) very soon
Breakfast. Mushrooms or tomatoes on toast, as well as egg on toast is a close second, and when I saw some lovely fresh and VERY seasonal autumn mushrooms at the market the other day, I set out to prove that you CAN have your “on toast” treat on a diet, that is tasty andfull of flavour
Meal type. I am rather pleased with this recipe, not just because it is very filling and extremely flavoursome, but because my husband, who is NOT following any diet, asked if he could have some for his lunch, as the aromatic fragrance of the lemons, cumin and garlic infused the kitchen and apparently titillated his taste buds
The Marmalade has been made, for my grand entry into the World’s Original Marmalade Awards, British Farmhouse BreakfastWeek is over and January is about to slither out in either an avalanche of snow or a deluge of flooding, and, it is another Meal Planning Monday post – WHERE did last week go
I always makes a batch of this up along with my soup recipe in readiness for my two low-calorie fast days, as it’s all prepared and ready to snack on, as well as making a GREAT fruity kick-start breakfast for the start of the day
Breakfast. I enjoyed this today as part of my fast day menu, (the fullweek’s menu for the Lavender and Lovage household will follow on) and even Malcolm loved it, although I was kind and served his with some bread and a wee glass of wine
I’m persevering, although some weeks I think I simply eat too much food on feast days (three meals out in a row doesn’t really help if you are trying to lose weight
I do remember making funny face sandwiches for my daughter, for her school lunch box, and even now, we both love quirky food presentation, in fact the last time I stayed with her, she made me some toasted crumpet faces for breakfast
Perhaps because of that, the meal we ate was relatively higher in fat and calories and even now, if I have time and space in the freezer, I much prefer using a whole chicken
I know if I was going out to work in a office, I might very well have breakfastand skip lunch. What does work for me is a diet where for two days a week I really focus on eating low calorie healthy food
And John’s fish always arrives beautifully filleted so that all I have to do is open one of the individual portions to create my very own dietready-meal
