  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 lamb shanks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • a sprig of rosemary
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 350 ml red wine
  • 200 ml lamb stock
