Ingredients

  • 2 large aubergines
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 500 g minced lamb
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 vine ripened tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp of lamb
  • 1 lamb stock cube
  • 200 ml red wine
  • 1 tsp mint jelly
  • 500 ml carton of Lidl Italiamo Besciamella (or other equivalent)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp grated nutmeg
