Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg beef brisket - cut into
  • 2 cm cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp fine corn flour
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 2-3 trimmed leeks
  • 4 red onions sliced
  • 500 ml dark beer
  • 250 ml beef stock
  • 1 pot herbal infusion or alternatively
  • 1-2 Bay leaves
  • 3-4 sprigs thyme - leaves only
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 200 g ready made all butter puff pastry
  • 1 egg
