Baked Beanballs with a tomato & veggie pasta sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tins of baked beans (drain off the tomato sauce)
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic puree
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 handful of grated cheese
  • 10 Ryvita Cracked Black Pepper Crispbread
  •  
  • For the sauce
  • A glug of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 carrots finely diced
  • 1 stick of celery finely diced
  • 1 tin of tomatoes (I used chopped with added herbs)
  • 1 tsp of tomato puree
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic puree
  • Italian herbs
  • Pasta to serve and grated cheese
