Ingredients

  • 1/4 inch thick. They absorbe the meat juices and the apple juice, and that cabbage at the bottom
  • 1 TBS light olive oil
  • 2 pork loin chops, bone in, 1 inch thick
  • 150 g white cabbage, shredded (about 2 cups)
  • 2 TBS soft light brown sugar
  • 1 TBS Chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
  • 2 medium/large red potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 150 g fresh or frozen green beans (1 cup)
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp dried sage
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 180 ml apple juice (3/4 cup)
  • 30 g seasoned bread crumbs (1/4 cup)
  • 1 TBS butter, melted
