  • 150 g whole unseasoned cashew nuts, 2 tsbp of butter, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 3-4 pinches of garam masala, squeeze of lemon juice and salt to season.

  • A tasty side order which leaves a mild long lasting peppery heat. A good way of getting children to eat vegetables. Ingredients 2 tbsp of cooking oil
  • 1 tsp of whole black mustard seeds
  • 1 dried red chili
  • 200 g of cabbage, finely sliced, I used Savoy Cabbage but any Cabbage will do.
  • 300 g of carrots, coarsely grated
  • 1 green chili, cut into thin strips (remove seeds, if required)
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp chopped, fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
