My week goes Tuesday to Tuesday because of weigh in so that is how I plan my meals too. My general strategy, as often as I can anyway, involves sitting down on a Saturday afternoon with my recipe books, this blog and my brain and working out what meals I’m going to make the next week

well, what with doing my Wartime Kitchen and preparing for Christmas, I have not had time to post any mealplans, or indeed any of my new recipes, but, I am rectifying that today with a NEW recipe that’s just right for all the snow and frost we have been having over the last few days – a Scottish inspired Highland Stew

Notes If you fancy something extra filling, or a meatier version of this recipe why not try adding some diced chicken, just fry it through when you cook the onions
But back to my weeklymealplan, which is on Tuesday again, and I am late again……it is an odd week, as I have my daughter and her two friends staying for the week, so things will be a little flexible
I often fill a fruit bowl on on my desk on a Monday and work my way through it during the week. Invest in a good bit of Tupperware, like the Sistema ones below, and take what you had the night before, for the day after
