It’s lower in syns than plain flour, and much higher in fibre. Not all coconut flours are created equal, some are higher in syns than others – the one we’ve used in this recipe is Sukrin Coconut Flour
It’s not only gluten free but also high in fibre, low in carbohydrates, and, more importantly for those on the SlimmingWorld journey, it actually has a lower syn value than regular flour

I can honestly say this was the best low syn cake I’ve made on SlimmingWorld. It’s a fantastic product, which I’d really recommend picking up (you can get it on Amazon here), and reduces the syns in recipes considerably
